Investigators search Russia’s national road traffic watchdog
MOSCOW, Sep 28 (PRIME) -- Investigators and law enforcement officers are searching Moscow’s department of the National Road Traffic Supervision Administration under a criminal case of receiving 1.15 million rubles in bribes for protection of transportation companies, the Investigative Committee said in a statement Wednesday.
“The total amount of money received in bribes stood at no less than 1.15 million rubles. The investigation is uncovering other similar criminal episodes. Today, searches at more than 27 buildings are being held under the case, including the department of the National Road Traffic Supervision Administration,” the committee said.
